Guest Blogger Provides Insight On Hard Working Parents
Every year at this time, an army of workforce impostors joins the ranks of their parents to enjoy a day off of school by participating in the Take Our Daughters And Sons To Work Day. CENTURY 21 First Realty likes to participate in this wonderful program, as it encourages families to interact and instill the important messages with the children about the importance of hard work and the need to envision their bright futures.
This year, my son Max decided to follow me for the day. I was a bit curious to see if he could keep up, so I gave him the assignment of todays blog post. Max is in the 5th grade and I am proud of what he accomplished in his first-ever Guest Blogger appearance. Here it is with very few minor edits.
Why It Is Important To See What Our Parents Do For A Living
by Max Manausa, age 11Why do parents work? Our parents work for many reasons, but most important is to provide their families with basic needs (shelter, food, clothing). Also, they may work because they like their jobs!
Are your parents happy with their jobs? I know mine are because they help people buy and sell houses. If you see your parents happy at their jobs, you might want to have a job youre happy with. But if your parents are miserable, you might not want to work thinking youll be unhappy. Do you want to by happy with your job?
Why should we see what our parents do for a living? It teaches us that we always need to work our hardest and give our best effort. It also tells us that we should have respect for our parents when they work hard to provide for us and the rest of the family.
